If you’ve ever wanted to go fishing on a Kentucky horse farm, your opportunity has arrived. This spring Stone Farm is offering an exclusive experience led by one of the farm owners that includes not only a tour of the historic farm but an afternoon by the pond enjoying some of Kentucky’s favorite traditions.
Stone Farm has been operated by Arthur Hancock III since 1970 and today his family takes part in the day-to-day farm operations. Thanks to Horse Country, on select dates this spring you can spend a day with Arthur Hancock IV, visiting the farm and its equine residents before topping off the day with some catch-and-release fishing on the property.
A private tour experience, the day also includes sipping on Ale-8-One, a Kentucky soda, and exploring far corners of the farm known only to a few lucky souls. As the Horse Country tour description says, “By the time you’re done you’ll be an official Kentuckian.”
