Derby prep season came to an end on Saturday with the final two “points races” (qualifiers) for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve. There were 100 points up for grabs to the winner of the Arkansas Derby at Oaklawn Park, where Magnum Moon followed up a dominant score in the Rebel Stakes with another dazzling victory. Over at Keeneland, My Boy Jack officially locked up a spot in the Derby starting gate with a late rush to win the Stonestreet Lexington Stakes.
