This week’s trifecta key:
Monday, Santa Anita Park, Race 7, $100,000 Megahertz Stakes, 6:38 p.m. ET
#8 Chocolate Coated (6-1 odds): She’s shown the versatility to run well on both the dirt and turf while also being able to take those talents sprinting and routing. She’s been given some time off since her good second in the Autumn Miss Stakes in late October over this turf course. I don’t think she will be as far back as she was that day, and she definitely has enough speed to get into a good position before approaching the first turn.
Strategy on $80 Budget:
$1 Trifecta: 8 with 1,2,4,5,7 with 1,2,4,5,7 ($20)
