What I like about Thoroughbred racing: How much my Maryland relatives yell at me that I don’t cover it enough.

If I wasn’t in my current job, I would be a: Guy selling puppets at the mall.

Best advice to someone considering becoming a Thoroughbred owner: Make sure you’re buying a horse and not a fake horse on eBay.

Should the Breeders’ Cup rotate from coast to coast or have a permanent home? Who do I look like, Bob Neumeier?

My top three favorite racetracks in order: Now since you said racetracks, I’m gonna cheat: Belmont Park, Floyd Bennett Field bike race track in Brooklyn, New York (technically an abandoned airfield), and the Hot Wheels track my kid just built. 

Most influential person in my career: My mom, or so she says.

My out-of-the-box idea for Thoroughbred racing: Let the horses ride the jockeys every third race.
