This week’s eatery:
Viva Villa Taqueria
Easy to find location off the Sierra Avenue exit on Interstate 10. They are open 24 hours and have plenty of parking. Large dining area and plenty of tasty options to choose from.
- Al pastor tacos are a good choice
- Hand-made tortillas
- Tasty salsas
- Good variety of Mexican sodas
What to Improve:
- Al pastor tasted a bit too sweet, might need more of that spicy flavor
This week’s Trifecta key:
Saturday, Sept. 16, Los Alamitos Race Course, Race 6, 7:28 p.m. ET
#5 Always Never (12-1 odds): Yes, the company he defeated last time out over the night oval was much easier but I was visually impressed by the way he looked winning off the layoff. The final time was solid and there are no real standouts in this field. I think he fits well and is worth a gamble at these odds.
Strategy on $80 Budget:
$1 Trifecta: 5 with 1,2,3,4,6 with 1,2,3,4,6 ($20)
