Never riding until shortly before he turned 18, Fallon’s uncanny natural horsemanship has drawn raves from employers such as Aidan O’Brien, but his off-track troubles have frustrated just as many. The six-time champion jockey bounces back from his numerous suspensions for a variety of offenses with unmatched ability in the saddle, but successful stints as contract jockey for Sir Henry Cecil in the 1990s and for Coolmore in the 2000s finished acrimoniously.

Fallon has won the 2005 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe aboard Hurricane Run, is a two-time winner of the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf with Ouija Board and once with Islington. He has also claimed quite a few classics across Europe, and top races like the 2007 Irish Champion Stakes with Dylan Thomas.

Without a contract, he rides for as many as 75 trainers a year, and managed to gain third place in the British standings in 2011.
