Bio
Zivo broke his maiden in June of his sophomore season after three tries. The horse finished second in a stakes two starts later but then remained in allowance company until November 2013.
In December Zivo began a six-race win streak culminating in a victory in the 2014 Suburban Stakes. He then finished fourth in the Woodward Stakes and second in the Jockey Club Gold Cup before aiming for a start in the Breeders' Cup Classic. The horse's Woodward effort is his only out-of-the-money finish in his career. The New York-bred has never run outside of his home state.
