Irish-bred Xenobia began her racing career in her home country where she won four of 10 starts, including a Group 3 stakes in July 2018.
The Augustin Stable-owned daughter of Falco was shipped to the U.S. the following summer and, under trainer Jonathan Thomas’ direction, finished fourth and then second in two turf allowance optional races at Belmont.

She mad her stateside stakes debut in the Grade 3 Athenia Stakes on Oct. 20 at Belmont, and pressed the early pace before shooting clear after a half-mile and keeping her foes at bay in the 1 1/16-mile race en route to a a 1 ½-length victory.
