Co-owned by basketball star Rashard Lewis and Jake Ballis, White Rose finally broke through at the graded stakes level when winning the 2015 Glen Falls Stakes. The 5-year-old daughter of Tapit had come close to getting a graded stakes win in the past with a third in the Waya Stakes last time out and multiple ungraded stakes wins but this was her first victory at the graded stakes level.
Sold at auction three times, White Rose has always been a hot commedity, bringing $210,000 as a weanling, $160,000 as a yearling and $225,000 as a 2-year-old.
