Top Billing paired his top Equibase Speed Figure (100) with a dominant allowance win on the Holy Bull Stakes undercard on Jan. 25 and reportedly came out of the race feeling great. The colt impressed the racing world when he closed to finish third in the Fountain of Youth Stakes over a speed favoring Gulfstream Park, but an injury prevented him from racing for the rest of 2014.
The colt returned in 2015 as a 4-year-old to fourth- and second-place finishes in a pair of allowance races followed by a fourth-place effort in the Grade 3 Pimlico Special.
