Tom's Tribute didn't debut until June of his 3-year-old season and he broke his maiden at second asking at Hollywood Park in July. His first stakes victory came in October 2013 in the Uniformity Stakes at Santa Anita Park.
As a 4-year-old Tom's Tribute finished second in the Grade 2 Arcadia and third in the Grade 1 Shoemaker Mile before breaking through with a win in the Grade 1 Eddie Read at Del Mar.
Tom's Tribute is a son of Lion Heart, out of the El Prado mare Halloween Fun. He was named to memorialize his owner's late husband, Tom Braly.
