After three straight victories that included breaking her maiden in 2014, Tiz Midnight made her stakes debut at the highest level when running in the Grade 1 Zenyatta Stakes. She held her own, finishing on 3/4 length behind two-time champion Beholder. That finish had her aiming for the Breeders' Cup Distaff.
Tiz Midnight is by two-time Breeders' Cup Sprint winner Midnight Lute and out of multiple Grade 1 winner Tough Tiz's Sis. She is the first foal from the mare and has two full siblings.
