Taris broke her maiden in her first race by 11 3/4 lengths followed by a score in the Wide Country Stakes in January of 2014. She suffered her first loss in the Grade 3 Honeybee Stakes in March but returned to the track in September, where she won an allowance by 7 3/4 lengths before running away with the Lexus Raven Run by nine lengths at the Keeneland Fall meet.

After finishing second in the Grade 1 La Brea Stakes to close her 2014 season, Taris returned from a long layoff in August 2015 at Del Mar with a scintillating victory in the Grade 3 Rancho Bernardo Stakes. She finished third in the Grade 3 L.A. Woman Stakes on Oct. 4 in her final prep for the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint, where she finished third.
Taris opened her 2016 season with a runaway win in the Grade 2 La Canada Stakes before finishing second to Tara's Tango in the Grade 1 Santa Margarita Stakes.
