Summer Front, a bay War Front colt, won a pair of stakes on the grass at two before 2012 Triple Crown Trail aspirations took him to the main track. Runner-up in the Lexington Stakes (G3) on the synthetic track at Keeneland Race Course before an unplaced finish in the Peter Pan Stakes(G2) led to a return to turf, Summer Front scored an impressive breakthrough graded stakes win in the Hill Prince Stakes (G3) in June at Belmont Park for owner Waterford Stable.
