Structor edged away in the stretch to win his career debut by 1 1/4 lengths going 1 1/16 miles at Saratoga Aug. 31, 2019. Tested next in stakes company, the Palace Malice colt passed with flying colors with an off-the-cae victory by a neck over Andesite in the Grade 3 Pilgrim Stakes Sept. 28 at Belmont Park.
Making his next start in the 2019 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Presented by Coolmore America, Structor stalked the pace from midpack in a 14-horse field, split rivals in the stretch, and closed powerfully to prevail by a half-length at 5.30-1 odds.

After the Breeders’ Cup win, trainer Chad Brown said Structor trains well on the main dirt track and would be given a shot on the 2020 Triple Crown trail.
Structor is out of the winning More Than Ready mare Miss Always Ready, a full-sister to 2010 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner More Than Real. He is from the first crop of 2013 Belmont Stakes winner Palace Malice.
