A homebred for the Mosses, Stanwyck is a half sister to Kentucky Derby winner Giacomo and Grade 1 winenr Tiago. The mare won the 2013 Turnback the Alarm Handicapin her first graded stakes attempt. In 2014, she has hit the board in five of her six graded stakes tries, only finishing off the board in the Beldame Stakes. Stanwyck looks to make her Breeders' Cup debut in the 2014 Breeders' Cup Distaff.
