Bio
Breaking her maiden in the spring of 2014, Southern Honey won the Grade 3 Winning Colors in late May against older females. In the fall, she finished third in the Prioress Stakes at Saratoga before finishing second to Leigh Court in the Thoroughbred Coaching Club of America Stakes as her Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint prep.
Her dam is the half-sister to the dam of fellow 2014 Breeders' Cup contender Lucky Player.
