Slumber won two of his first seven races while competing in England, inclduing a stakes victory. He also finished second once and third twice in Group 3 races in England.
Slumber won two of his first seven races while competing in England, inclduing a stakes victory. He also finished second once and third twice in Group 3 races in England.
Slumber was shipped to the United Stakes in November 2011 and finished fourth in the Grade 1 Hollywood Derby. After finishing in the top three in four graded stakes in the U.S., Slumber earned a breakthrough victory in the Grade 1 Know Creek Manhattan Stakes in June 2015 at Belmont Park for his first stateside stake triumph. He subsequently finished second in both the Grade 1 United Nations Stakes and Grade 1 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Stakes before running fourth in the Longines Breeders' Cup Turf in his final race in 2015.
A Juddmonte homebred, Slumber is from the family of two-time champion Slew o' Gold.
