Sheer Drama emerged as a top older female in 2015 when she won the Grade 2 Royal Delta Stakes by 6 1/2 lengths at Gulfstream Park. She followed later that year with a breakthrough Grade 1 win in the Delaware Handicap.
Sheer Drama punched her ticket to the Longines Breeders' Cup Distaff in August at Saratoga with a victory in the Grade 1 Personal Ensign Stakes for trainer David Fawkes. She finished fourth in the Distaff in her final race of 2015. Sheer Drama was a finalist for the 2015 Eclipse Award as champion older female, which ultimately was won by Beholder.
