Winless in three starts in Ireland, Shahroze came to the U.S. in October 2017 and won his U.S. debut by a half-length in his first start for trainer Graham Motion.
Shahroze finished second then fourth in his next two starts before regaining his top form in an allowance race at Belmont Park in May 2018. He made his stakes debut in the Grade 3, 1 1/2-mile Singspiel Stakes at Woodbine on June 23, and Shahroze did not disappoint. He closed from last to first for a visually impressive victory.
