Seabhac, a Donegal Farms-owned colt trained by Todd Pletcher, finished a good second in his career debut in August 2017 at Saratoga, and raced in the With Anticipation Stakes at the close of Saratoga’s meet. The Scat Daddy colt had to steady and alter course at the top of the stretch but still finished fourth.
Trainer Todd Pletcher kept Seabhac in stakes company for his next start, and this time was rewarded with a win, as the colt rallied from off of the pace under Luis Saez to score in the Grade 3 Pilgrim Stakes by a half-length.
