A group stakes winner in both England and France, Sandiva came to the U.S. in July 2014. After three uncharacteristically dull efforts in the U.S., Sandiva broke through with a win in the Tropical Parks Oaks to close the 2014 season.

Sandiva earned her first graded stakes win in the U.S. in 2015, when she took the Grade 3 Suwanee River Stakes at Gulfstream Park. She finished in the top three in three of her final four races in 2015 and then opened 2016 with a triumph in the Grade 3 Marshua's River Stakes before a runner-up finish in the Grade 2 Royal Delta Stakes, both at Gulfstream.
