Royal Approval, a Three Chimneys Farm homebred Tiznow filly trained by Wesley Ward, finished second in her debut at Gulfstream Park on May 31, 2020, and then was sent to England to start in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at the prestigious Royal Ascot meet.
She finished 17th in that race but was none the worse for wear upon her return to the U.S., winning her first race back at Kentucky Downs by an impressive 6 ¼ lengths in September.
