Res Ipsa

Res Ipsa launched her career in the maiden claiming ranks, finishing eighth and then third for a $50,000 tag, before capturing her first career victory in a May 2016 maiden special weight two starts later. Her next several starts were at the allowance level and included four in-the-money finishes but no more wins until June 2017.

The filly then ventured into the stakes ranks, finishing sixth in the listed Indiana General Assembly Distaff Stakes, and tallied a pair of allowance wins to close out 2017. She came flying late to finish second in her first star as a 5-year-old and her first graded stakes try, the Grade 3 Honey Fox Stakes in late March 2018.

Res Ipsa is a daughter of 2007 champion grass horse English Channel out of the winning More Than Ready mare More to the Story.
