Reneesgotzip

After a clear victory in her only race as a 2-year-old, Reneesgotzip emerged as one of the top members of the 3-year-old filly division in 2012 when she won the Grade 2 Santa Ynez Stakes and finished second in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Oaks and Grade 1 Las Virgenes Stakes. Reneesgotzip showed that she was improving at the end of the year, finishing third in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint and finishing second in the Grade 1 La Brea Stakes.

In her second start of 2013, Reneesgotzip won the Rancho Bernardo Handicap while breaking Del Mar's 6 1/2 furlong track record. She finished off the 2013 season finishing second in the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint.

Reneesgotzip returned in 2014 to finish third in the Rancho Bernardo in August. She then won the C.E.R.F. Stakes heading into the Breeders' Cup, where she was pre-entered to both the Turf Sprint and the Sprint.

Reneesgotzip was sold for $3,500 at the 2010 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky fall yearling sale and later went through the auction ring again, selling for $45,000 at the 2011 OBSC spring sale of 2-year-olds in training.
