Rainha Da Bateria

Purchased for $435,000 as a yearling, Rainha Da Bateria quickly started showing how talented she was, winning her maiden in her first start. While she lost her second start, a stakes race at Saratoga, she earned a "Win and You're In" spot to the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf when she won the Grade 3 Jessamine Stakes at Keeneland.

After a disappointing effort in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf, Rainha Da Bateria finished second in the Jimmy Durante Stakes to finish out the year.

Her sophomore debut saw her finish third in the Blue Norther Stakes at Santa Anita. She did not win in five starts at three in 2015 but closed the year with a runner-up finish in the Grade 2 Mrs. Revere Stakes.

After a pair of runner-up finishes in graded stakes and a third in the Grade 1 Diana Stakes in her first five races of 2016, Rainha Da Bateria finally returned to the winner's circle with a victory in the Grade 2 Canadian Stakes to end a 12-race winless stretch. She posted competitive fifth- and fourth-place finishes in her next two starts, the latter coming in her first start at 5 in the Grade 3 Beaugay Stakes. Rainha Da Bateria then shipped back to Woodbine, the site of her Canadian Stakes triumph, and rallied late to post a dead-heat win with Starship Jubilee in the Grade 2 Dance Smartly Stakes in July.

Rainha Da Bateria is a half-sister to graded stakes winners Assateague and Kindergarden Kid in addition to 2012 Breeders' Cup Juvenile runner-up He's Had Enough.
