From the familyc of Hall of Famer and 1969 Horse of the Year Arts and Letters, Pataky Kid won his second career start for Tom Proctor. He was a $95,000 purchase at the 2011 Fasig-Tipton Florida sale of selected 2-year-olds in training.
In his stakes debut, Pataky Kid surged to a victory in the Arlington-Washington Futurity (G3) to enter the picture for the 2012 Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1).
