Born in 2009, Parranda has turned into a top class turf mare in 2014. The winner of two stakes in Florida earlier this year, including the Suwannee River, Parranda was privately purchased in the spring and transferred to Jerry Hollendorfer.
Since the transfer, Parranda has been extremely consistent, finishing on-the-board in all six of her starts. Included in that time frame were wins in the Royal Heroine and Wilshire Stakes, setting her up for a possible appearance in the 2014 Breeders' Cup.
