Pantsonfire began her racing career in her native Ireland and was winless through four starts before moving to the U.S. in summer 2017. She won her third start in this country, a maiden special weight on turf at Del Mar, and then finished second by a nose in an allowance race before checking in sixth in her first stakes try to close out the year.

Pantsonfire raced 10 times in a busy 4-year-old season during 2018, notching two wins in allowance races and finishing third twice in six stakes races. The Richard Baltas-trained mare broke through with her first career stakes win in her first 2019 start, rallying strongly under Flavien Prat to take the Grade 3 Astra Stakes by 5 ¼ lengths at Santa Anita Park on Jan. 20.
