In 2010, Pants On Fire broke his maiden by an impressive seven lengths at Delaware Park. He finished second in his first graded stakes, the 2011 LeComte Stakes and went on to win the Grade 2 Louisiana Derby. The Jump Start son finished off the 2011 season with a win in the Grade 3 Pegasus Stake and a fifth place finish in the Grade 1 Haskell.
Pants On Fire started the 2012 season with a allowance race win and found victory in the Skip Away Stakes.
