A former claimer, Palace stepped up his game in late 2013 when winning the Fall Highweight Handicap. He improved even more in 2014 when he won three graded stakes races, including two back-to-back Grade 1s in August. He finished the year with a third-place finish in the Vosburgh Handicap and a sixth-place effort in the Breeders' Cup Sprint.
In 2015 he has a third-place finish in the John Morrissey Stakes and a fourth-place finish in the Vosburgh among his best races.
