No Dozing won the first two starts of his career for owner-breeder Lael Stables, the racing stable of Roy and Gretchen Jackson. The Jacksons raced and bred 2006 Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro.
After finishing fourth in the Grade 1 Claiborne Breeders' Futurity in October, No Dozing finished well for second in the Grade 2 Remsen Stakes on Nov. 26.

After finishing fourth in the Grade 1 Claiborne Breeders' Futurity in October, No Dozing finished well for second in the Grade 2 Remsen Stakes on Nov. 26.
In his first start as a 3-year-old, No Dozing finished sixth in the Sam F. Davis Stakes. He then finished fourth in the Tampa Bay Derby. After a third-place finish in the Lexington Stakes, No Dozing ran on Derby day 2017, where he was second best in the Pat Day Mile. He was a four-length victor in the Concern Stakes at Laurel Park in July but finished off the board the rest of the year.
No Dozing kicked off his 2018 season with an allowance win at Saratoga in July. He finished unplaced in a pair of graded stakes but rebounded to easily capture the Bold Ruler Handicap at Aqueduct on Nov. 2 by an impressive 9 3/4 lengths.
No Dozing is out of the winning Pulpit mare Stay Awake.
