Moonshine Mullin showed some class as a 3-year-old when he won a stakes race at Woodbine in Canada and finished second in the Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes at Saratoga Race Course.
He won only once in nine starts as a 4-year-old, however, and did not really find his groove as a top racehorse until his 6-year-old season. The former claimer put together a 5-race winning streak in 2014 that included the Grade 2 Alysheba Stakes and the Grade 1 Stephen Foster Handicap.
