Moon Colony needed three starts to earn his first career win, prevailing by 2 ½ length on soft turf at Keeneland in October 2018. He closed his 2-yearold season with a two-length win at Fair Grounds in November.
In his 3-year-old bow, Moon Colony finished fifth by two lengths in the Kitten’s Joy Stakes at Gulfstream Park. After a layoff, he returned in the Grade 2 Penn Mile Stakes on June 2 and rallied through an opening on the rail to a clear in on yielding turf at Penn National.
