Money Multiplier competed admirably in graded stakes racing for over two years after breaking his maiden in May 2015. He finished second in five graded stakes races over that span, including three Grade 1s in 2016 – the Man o’ War Stakes, the United Nations Stakes, and the Sword Dancer Invitational Stakes.

After finishing sixth in the 2016 Longines Breeders’ Cup Turf, the Lookin At Lucky ridgling was given an extended break by trainer Chad Brown. He returned to break through with his first graded stakes win in the 2017 Grade 2 Monmouth Stakes on July 30, and then finished a good second to Sadler's Joy in the Grade 1 Sword Dancer Stakes on Aug. 26 at Saratoga. Money Multiplier followed an unplaced finish in the Grade 1 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic Stakes with a fourth-place finish in the Grade 3 Red Smith Handicap in his final start of 2017.
In his third start of 2018, Money Multiplier regained his top form with a hard-fought repeat victory in the Grade 3 Monmouth Stakes on May 26.
