Though his next race was a disappointing fifth place on the Triple Crown trail, he returned in April 2015 and won the Grade 3 Bay Shore Stakes followed by a victory in the Grade 2 Woody Stephens Stakes on Belmont day. After a series of unplaced efforts he finished his year a runner-up in the Grade 1 Hollywood Derby on turf.
