Just Grazed Me opened her career with back-to-back dominant victories in summer 2018 and then finished third in the Grade 3 Torrey Pines Stakes Aug. 26 in her stakes debut.
After two more runner-up finishes, one against stakes competition, Just Grazed Me closed out her 3-year-old season with a four-length win in December 2018 in an optional claiming race at Los Alamitos.

As a 4-year-old, trainer Phil D’Amato switched Just Grazed Me to turf and she ran third in the Daisycutter Handicap in July at Del Mar in her first race on grass. She followed with a one-length score in an optional-claiming race at Del Mar in August before earnings a breakthrough stakes victory by 1 ¾ lengths in the California Distaff Handicap Oct. 12 at Santa Anita.
The Grazen filly made her graded stakes debut in the $100,000 Senator Ken Maddy Stakes on the Nov. 2 Breeders’ Cup Saturday undercard and closed powerfully to prevail and extend her winning streak to three.
