Judy the Beauty made her debut at Keeneland, breaking her maiden by 1 3/4 lengths. After winning an allowance race, she went on to take another win in the Shady Wells Stakes at Woodbine. She placed a close second in the Grade 1 Spinaway Stakes and the Prioress Stakes. She finished out the 2012 season with another second in the Grade 2 Gallant Bloom Handicap.

Put up against the champion mare Groupie Doll, she prevailed to take the win at Keeneland in the Grade 2 Thoroughbred Club of America Stakes.
