Jeltrin won a maiden-claiming race in her second start before running third in an optional claiming race in December 2018 in her final start as a 3-year-old. She stepped up into stakes competition for her 3-year-old bow and finished fourth in the Glitter Woman Stakes on Jan. 5. After another fourth-place finish in the Grade 3 Forward Gal Stakes in February, trainer Alexis Delgado decided to stretch Jeltrin out in distance for the one-mile, Grade 2 Davona Dale Stakes on March 2.
