The Jerry Hollendorfer-trained It Tiz Well picked up her first stakes win on March 11 in the Grade 3 Honeybee Stakes at Oaklawn Park. That was her first race outside of California, where she had won two of her first four career starts, including a runner-up finish to top 3-year-old filly Unique Bella, also trained by Hollendorfer, in the Santa Ynez Stakes.

After finishing third in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Oaks and a troubled fourth in the Grade 2 Summertime Oaks, It Tiz Well regained her elite form with a half-length victory in the Grade 3 Delaware Oaks.It Tiz Well ran second in the Grade 1 Alabama Stakes in August 2017 before earning her first career Grade 1 win when she reeled in multiple Grade 1 winner Abel Tasman late to prevail in the Cotillion Stakes at Parx Racing.
It Tiz Well, a daughter of Arch out of the stakes-winning Tiznow mare It Tiz, was purchased by owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds for $230,000 at the Keeneland September yearling sale.
