After a fourth- and a second-place finish in her first two starts, Indulgent posted three straight victories before a runner-up finish in her stakes debut in the Grade 3 Distaff Handicap in April 2017. A pair of unplaced finishes in graded stakes was followed by a third in the Shine Again Stakes at Saratoga Race Course. She then ran sixth in the Grade 2 Presque Isle Masters Stakes before a runner-up finish in the Pumpkin Pie Stakes at Aqueduct in Novembe.
