Hard Not to Like won the first two starts of her career, leading from start to finish in a three-length runaway victory in a February 2019 maiden special weight race and then rallying from off the stretch for a three-quarter-length win in an April 2019 allowance-optional claiming race, both at Santa Anita Park.
The bay Hard Spun filly finished third in her stakes debut in May 2019 before another allowance win in October at Santa Anita. She capped her 4-year-old season with a dominant 2 ¼-length victory in the Grade 1 La Brea Stakes Dec. 28.
