Global Campaign

Global Campaign did not race as a 2-year-old. He opened his career with back-to-back wins in January and February 2019 at Gulfstream Park by a combined margin of eight lengths. He sustained a minor injury when finishing fifth in the Grade 2 Xpressbet Fountain of Youth Stakes but bounced back to post a 1 ¼-length victory in the 1 1/8-mile, Grade 3 Peter Pan Stakes on May 11. He ran third in the Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes in his final start as a 3-year-old.

The Curlin colt made his 4-year-old bow in an allowance race in April 2020 at Gulfstream Park and won by 1 1/2 lengths before a disappointing sixth-place finish as the favorite in the Blame Stakes May 23 at Churchill Downs. He bounced back nicely in his next start in the Grade 3 Monmouth Cup Stakes July 18 when he was headed in the stretch by Bal Harbour but battled back tenaciously to edge away for a 1 1/2-length victory.

Global Campaign next tested Grade 1 competition for the first time in the 1 1/4-mile Woodward Handicap Sept. 5 at Saratoga. He set an uncontested pace in the Woodward and then turned back multiple graded stakes winner Tacitus in early stretch to earn the most important victory of his career to date. He followed with another terrific showing when finishing third in the $6 million Longines Breeders' Cup Classic Nov. 6 at Keeneland.

Out of the A.P. Indy mare Globe Trot, Global Campaign is a half-brother to Grade 1 winner Bolt d’Oro and multiple stakes winner Sonic Mule.
