Frammento broke his maiden in his second start on Oct. 4, 2014 at Keeneland. While the Midshipman colt hasn't won since, he put himself in the running for a possible Kentucky Derby start in the Fountain of Youth Stakes when he was a fast-closing third to Itsaknockout. Frammento earned a few more Kentucky Derby points when finishing fourth in the Blue Grass Stakes for his final Kentucky Derby prep.

Frammento was sold for $50,000 as a weanling before going back through the ring as a yearling and bringing $85,000. However, his biggest accomplishment in the auction ring came in 2014 when he sold for $260,000 at a 2-year-olds in training sale.
Frammento is from the first crop of 2008 Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner Mishipman and is the third winner out of stakes winner Ginger Bay.
