Fast Anna made his career debut in April 2014 as a 3-year-old amid high expectations as a son of champion Dreaming of Anna, winner of the 2006 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies.
By elite sire Medaglia d'Oro, Fast Anna won his first two career starts before testing stakes competition. His connections entered him in the Grade 1 King's Bishop Stakes and Fast Anna more than held his own by finishing second by a neck to The Big Beast. Fast Anna then finished second in the Gallant Bob Stakes in his final prep for the 2014 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Sprint.
