Breaking her maiden by 9 3/4 lengths in her final start as a 2-year-old, Eskenformoney won an allowance next out by 3 3/4 lengths. She then placed in three graded stakes as a 3-year-old, and two more at age 4, along with several unplaced efforts, before securing her first graded win in the Dec. 2016 Grade 3 Rampart Stakes.
Breaking her maiden by 9 3/4 lengths in her final start as a 2-year-old, Eskenformoney won an allowance next out by 3 3/4 lengths. She then placed in three graded stakes as a 3-year-old, and two more at age 4, along with several unplaced efforts, before securing her first graded win in the Dec. 2016 Grade 3 Rampart Stakes.
At age 5, she continued to run competitively in graded stakes company, placing in three such events from January through July. She then finished thitrd in both the Grade 1 Personal Ensign Stakes and Grade 1 Beldame Stakes, before regaining her winning for with a victory from off the pace in the Grade 3 Turnbak the Alarm Handicap on Oct. 28 at Belmont Park.
Bought for $225,000 as a yearling, Eskenformoney is by Wood Memorial winner Eskendereya. Her dam, But for Money, was a winner on the track and is a half sister to multiple stakes winner Somethinaboutbetty and Petunia.
