Demarchelier won his career debut in November 2018 and improved to 2-for-2 in April 2019 with an allowance win at Keeneland. The Dubawi colt then closed from off the pace in his stakes debut and held off a late bid from Seismic Wave to win the Grade 3 Pennine Ridge Stakes on June 1 at Belmont Park.
Demarchelier is out of the Sadler’s Wells mare Loveisallyouneed, a full-sister to Irish classic winner Yesterday and Group 1 winner Quarter Moon.
