Daredevil followed up a 6 1/4-length romp in his career debut on Sept. 13 at Belmont Park with a powerhouse victory in the Foxwoods Champagne Stakes, proving he was capable of handling the jump from a maiden race to a Grade 1 test.
After a disappointing 11th-place finish in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, Daredevil was rested for a 3-year-old campaign. He finished second in the Grade 2 Swale Stakes and fourth in the Grade 1 Wood Memorial in the spring of 2015. In October 2015 it was announced Daredevil was retired to study duty at WinStar Farm in Kentucky.

Daredevil is a half-brother (same dam [mother], different sire [father]) to 2008 Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile victor Albertus Maximus. Owner Let's Go Stable purchased Daredevil for $260,000 at the 2013 Keeneland September yearling sale.
