Celestine put together a three-race stakes winning streak as a 3-year-old in 2015. She really broke out the following season when she recorded back-to-back wins in the Grade 2 Honey Fox Stakes and Grade 1 Longines Just a Game Stakes. She subsequently finished third in the Grade 1 First Lady Stakes before an unplaced finish in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint.

Celestine made her 2017 debut in the Sand Springs Stakes at Gulfstream Park on March 4 and won by two lengths as the 7-10 favorite. She then returned to the Gulfstream Park turf on April 1 and posted another clear win under jockey Jose Ortiz, repeating in the Grade 2 Honey Fox at 3-10 odds. Celestine improved to two wins in as many starts under new trainer Christophe Clement after being trained by Bill Mott in her nine previous starts.
