After winnning his career debut on Sept. 1, 2014, at Saratoga Race Course, Carpe Diem delivered a dominant victory in the Claiborne Breeders' Futurity in his second start.
Carpe Diem stalked the pace from fourth in the Breeders' Futurity and streaked clear in the stretch to win by 6 1/4 lengths as the 2.40-to-1 favorite. The victory earned him a starting spot in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile via the "Win and You're In" Challenge Series.
